[CAMI WOLFF]: Welcome to "Triggered to Life," a podcast highlighting individuals that were shaken awake. We talk to entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and wellness experts that aren't just living but choose to thrive in this lifetime. This podcast highlights pivotal breakthroughs, dark nights of the soul, and the energetics of what we consume, and the path to living more intentionally.

Hello. My name is Cami Wolff. I am the host of "Triggered to Life." I am so excited to start this podcast. It has been brewing in me for quite some time. It's never easy just to get started, so here we are. I am starting this podcast because I have gone through a massive transformation the past five months, and I feel like I have been "triggered" to live a more alive life. So, what do I mean by that? A series of events unfolded in my life that caused me to re-exam everything I believed about myself. "The triggered to life," that concept is so interesting to me. So, we're going to be talking to people about those moments in their life that changed the course of their existence forever.

Dark nights of the soul. So, that's like those periods in people's lives where it just really is a dark place, but on the other side of that place is a complete and total transformation. We're going to be talking to people about those moments and times, those breakthroughs that people have that just changed the course of everything. I guess we should talk a little bit about what that looked like for me. So, about, let's see, actually five months ago today, my partner and I broke up. So, a partnership that I thought would turn into the whole getting married, having kids, spending the rest of our life together.

And so, going from having that image in my head one day, to that being completely shattered within a matter of a couple of days, coupled with heading into a global pandemic and being in a three-month quarantine in a new apartment, saying goodbye to a wellness studio that I worked in daily because it was in my partner's home, and then having to pivot and put all of my business online, it shook me awake. I was already on the path to living a more conscious life, but this really did something to me that you can't really explain unless you've experienced something incredibly painful that changes the course of your life. Most people have, right? There's those moments that really mold you into the person that you are.

So, yeah. Sitting with yourself for 90 days during quarantine, going to the deep depths of your soul, understanding who you thought you were, and then moving into the possibility of, "Wow, I don't even know what my life is going to look like post-pandemic, and do we even need to know?" But having that experience is powerful. It's also lonely. And I really want to talk to people that are going to give people hope through those types of transitions. I have never been in so much pain in my life, and honestly, there wasn't really much anyone could say to soothe me at that point, but connecting, hearing, reaching out to my community, asking for help has been the best medicine over the last five months.

I feel like you could throw anything at me at this point and I'm fine, I'm good because I really sat with myself. I really processed the ill feelings that I was feeling and I'm on the other side, and I can honestly say I feel really good. And I'm really excited to put this podcast out. I'm really excited to reach more people, to help more people, to talk to really interesting people, to encourage people to live more alive, to live like you have no idea what tomorrow is going to look like because you really don't. You can create a story in your head of how you think your life is going to look like, but we truly don't know. So, being open to a life that really has no roadmap is my new thing. So, I'm glad you're here for the journey. I hope you will follow along. And I want to thank you for being here, for listening, and for supporting me, and I look forward to many more episodes. I hope you have a great rest of your day. Once again, this is "Triggered to Life," a podcast with Cami Wolff, highlighting individuals that were shaken awake.
